You have made a good effort there considering you have done it all by yourself. The shooting mechanics and the lighting all worked fine and there weren't any bugs.
If you could get a sound person and an art person on your side it would have been much better and also the design of the game could be improved such as adding keys to open doors or health potions
This is all good feedback! In fact I had planned on adding keys held by certain ghosts in certain rooms, but time was against me and I was cutting it too close with the current design, so I had to let it go. :(
Interesting ending here… I ended up trying the “don’t shine the light anywhere bad” method, and was able to escape with 2 hearts!
If you had more time it might be a good idea for each time you enter a room, for the flashlight to go out, and flicker back on once you’ve “entered fully”.
I had to mentally get ready for the kitchen, pointing my flashlight away/up before entering the room. Blind running the kitchen was my introduction to the lose state :)

This is good. I really wish I had thought of that...

For a gamejam this shows great polish! Awesome job! The ending got me by surprise ^^; in any event, thank you for the making the game!
I like the toilet ghost
He was my favorite. I didn't have time to give him a custom sprite though. :(
